Who I Am
I’m trying, as best I can, to make the most of this life. In my view, this is all I have–nothing beyond–so I aim to squeeze the juice out of every single second.
I read, I write, I listen, I speak, I watch, I think.
I majored in English Education with an emphasis on literature, and I currently teach English at a top-ranked California high school. But this does not encompass me: I believe in being as balanced as humanly possible, and so my interests are far-reaching. I try to read a book each of non-fiction, fiction, and poetry at once to keep my thinking fresh.
I believe in keeping the body as sharp as the mind: they’re inextricably linked after all. I make a point of exercising five days a week. Frankly, it makes me feel better.
I have the love of a beautiful woman, and I love her more with each day that passes. We will soon have a daughter, and I cannot wait to be a father.
All I know is that I don’t know, but I’m willing to try.

I know that I like this and I will be back. Thank you for following When I Ride. Glad you are there.
Let me say from experience, you will enjoy the day your daughter is born. And you will enjoy everyday after as she grows and you grow as a father!!!
Wish you all the best. I hope you enjoy everyday of your journey as a new father
i like the way you have written your ‘about’….teaching in CA sounds very interesting!!!
